Time to start writing again
Jan. 4th, 2018 11:31 amI used to write a lot of entries in LiveJournal, but it seems no-one on my friends-list over there ever does anymore. In fact, it seems most of my friends have disappeared and even deleted their journals. I stopped writing there six years ago, and it appears most everyone else jumped ship in 2014, 2015. I imagine face-book is the reason.
I miss writing. I miss the unique community that LiveJournal was. I miss all of the really wonderful entries, the humor, all of the new things I would learn from others in that social community. More than anything, I miss interacting as we all did, in our unique way. It was such, that face-book could never compare.
At any rate, I do also find writing cathartic. It is good to reach within, reflect, consider how you feel about this chunk of life you just experienced, that you are about to share online.
I have gratitude sisters. We write nightly to each other. I am thankful for them. We meet for lunches, dinners, coffees, concerts, or just mischief. But all of our meetings are centered around love, light, growth, giving, and rising above. I hope to bring some of that over to Dreamwidth.
PS... why does the NAME on my account say Angela Vigar?? She is a local friend of mine in Victoria. HOW on earth is her name associated with my journal? LOL!!!
